Error Message Occurs When You Use a Macintosh OS X-Based Computer to View a Windows Server 2003-Based Computer

When you use a Macintosh computer that is running OS X, if you press COMMAND+K, and then type the Internet Protocol (IP) address of a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 with Microsoft Services for Macintosh, you may receive the following error message:
No File services are available at URL "IP address"
This problem can occur when you use the Apple Encrypt authentication method. When you use this authentication method, you cannot see shares that are located on computers that are running Windows Server 2003.
To resolve this problem, use the Apple Clear Text authentication method. To do so: 1. Start the Computer Management tool.
2. Right-click Shared folders, and then click Configure File Server for Macintosh.
3. Click Apple Clear Text.
